SUNY Westchester Community College Scholarships

Foundation Student Support

Gifts from generous donors enable the Westchester Community College Foundation to award nearly $3 million in student support annually. Scholarship awards cover tuition, fees, and other expenses associated with college attendance. Awards are made to full-time and part-time students; incoming students, continuing students, and graduating students.

SUNY Westchester Community College Foundation Scholarships are awarded based on financial need and academic merit. For all categories of Foundation Scholarships, students must file the respective financial aid application(s) to determine financial need. For the majority of our scholarships, a separate application is not required. Our goal is to make it easier for more students to benefit from these awards. This process will allow the college to provide a comprehensive financial assistance package in a timelier manner.

Foundation Scholarship Categories

All full-time SUNY Westchester Community College students who apply for financial aid will be automatically considered for Foundation scholarships.

Scholarship awards are available for many types of full-time students: incoming, continuing, graduating students who are continuing their education at 4-year institutions, international students, and DREAMers.
